how to be successful?

Secret For Success: Release the brakes

Successful people have discovered that instead of increased willpower as the engine to their success, It's simply easier to "release the brakes"  by letting go of and replacing their beliefs and changing their self-images.

Think of your comfort zone as a prison you will live in a largely self-created prison. It consists of the collection of can not, musts, must not, and other unfounded beliefs formed from all negative thoughts and decisions you have accumulated and reinforced during your lifetime perhaps you have been trained to limit yourself.

Hobert Allen once said, "Everything you want is just outside of your comfort zone". So, for success Strech your comfort zone. Consider this fact.

A baby elephant is trained at birth to be cramped to a very small amount of space. The trainer of the elephant will tie the elephant's leg with a rope to a wooden post which is planted deep in the ground. This confined the elephant to an area determined by the length of a rope - The elephant comfort zone. Though the baby elephant will initially try to break the rope, the rope is too strong, and so the baby elephant learns that it can't break the rope. It learns that it has to stay in that area defined by the length of the rope.
When the elephant grows up into a 5-ton colossus that could easily break the same rope, it doesn't even try because it learned as a baby that it couldn't break the rope. In this way, the largest animal can be cramped and controlled by the little rope.

Perhaps this also describes us that we are still trapped in a comfort zone by something as plunge and weak as the small rope as the elephant, except that our rope is made up of the limited beliefs and images that we received and took or when we were young. If this describes us the good news is that we can change our comfort zone.
So the question arises that

how can we get out of our comfort zone or how we can release our brakes?

There are three different ways:

  • We can use affirmations and positive self-talks to affirm what we want, doing what we want, and being the way we want.
  • We can create powerful and compelling new internal images of what we want.
  • We can simply change our behavior.

Let me tell you a story
There was a priest so holy that he never thought ill of someone. One day he sat down at a restaurant for a cup of coffee; which was all he could take, it is a day of fast and abstinence. When to his surprise, he saw a member of his devouring at the next table. "I trusted you I have not shocked you, Father," said the fellow with a smile on his face, "have you forgotten that today is a day of fast," said the priest.
"No, I remember it very clearly."
"Then you must be sick, and the doctor must have not allowed you to fast."
"Not at all, I am in the best of my health.
" At that, the priest raised his eyes heavenwards something which shamed the young fellow."

The priest said to God. "this generation, Isn't it great that they admit their sins than lying?"

The holier we are the greater the possibility to look at everything positively. A variety of stimuli are presented to us daily. If we react in a positive way, we develop a positive personality. On the other hand, negative reactions would land us into several problems. The world looks green to an optimist, and lack of the pessimist.

All these approaches will bring anyone out of his/her old comfort zone and will transform him/her into a successful person. This is a list of people who apply this principle in their lives and are/were successful people,-Albert Einstien, Jack Canfield, Peter Vidmar, Robert Allen, Robert F. Kennedy etc., this list is endless. so from onwards "Release the brakes"
